We are a small, family-run bakery, which means some elements are unique: 

  • We are limited in how many orders we can take on and what options we offer. This is to allow us to dedicate ourselves fully to your order and put lots of love into your cake! 
  • We source locally whenever possible, and we make many components from scratch- from our puff pastry and pastry cream to the butter and almond milk in our house-made components!
  • Our prices are not comparable with big-box bakeries. We are a small-batch bakery and dedicated dairy/egg allergen-friendly and vegan facility, so our pricing reflects the high costs that go into each baked good we produce.

Everything You Need to Know!

Please note that we often require a 2+ week lead time for custom orders. If we have availability for a sooner date, your cake total is subject to a $15 rush fee to accommodate your order on short notice. It’s always worth asking! 😃

We do sometimes stock cakes and cupcakes in our display case- just ask!

Cake pickup hours are between 11am and 2pm on Fridays and Saturdays, at our bakery in Historic Downtown Batavia. Our address is 119 S. Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60119.

All of our baked goods are 100% vegan- meaning there is no dairy, egg, or animal-derived ingredients used onsite. Please note that VEGAN does NOT mean GLUTEN-FREE- we use lots of gluten on-site! We make a nice, moist chocolate cake with gluten-free flour, which is made in the same kitchen as our other items, so please use caution when ordering with a gluten allergy. Our kitchen is peanut-free, but our cakes contain nuts (almond milk), cornstarch (in the frosting) and soy (lecithin in the butter), and we often use other common allergens as well.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or specific allergen concerns- we want to keep you all feeling healthy and good!

When stored properly in the refrigerator, our cakes will stay fresh for 4+ days. You can also cut your leftover cake into slices, wrap well, and freeze, to extend it to 1 month +.

Because we make each cake from scratch, all cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. We will not offer refunds after that period of time, except for extenuating circumstances.
